Annual Review 2025… A
Thank You from us!

Another academic year of PE and Sport complete! With Summer Camps ready to go we had an opportunity to reflect on the impact our team of Super Coaches have

#strongbodiesstrongminds #learningwithoutlimits

On a personal level from me, top of the feels list is PRIDE!

We may not live in a culture that encourages saying it, but we certainly do Hanford Sports Clubs and Camps Ltd

I’m proud of myself! Yes I know we aren’t supposed to say it - but we disagree. And boy do we want the children we work with to FEEL IT! LIVE IT! SAY IT! 10 years of Hanford Sports, growing every year. 17 years in Education. As we progress so does our delivery in bringing PE and Sport, Clubs and Camps and happiness to Primary Education and our settings. “Our passion is our commitment - to assist every young learner to be the best that they can be." And so creating a Happy, Engaged, Resilient and Ambitious generation of Young People.

I am so, so proud of our TEAM! 100’s of children every week accessing High Quality PE, Sport, Clubs and Camps but most of all getting Respect, Nurture and Care. Nothing feels better than receiving that spontaneous little message of thanks from parents and carers …

… Just wanted to say, your holiday camps are absolutely brilliant. It’s such a high standard of care for children and the staff are excellent with the kids, you can see that and the way they engage with them. The activities are so good and they love the craft stuff as well as the sport.

was really nervous about coming one day without , but your staff picked up on this (without me saying anything) and she won a trophy that day and the member of staff gave her lots of encouraging words as she left and she was beaming.

You can really tell you have put a lot of work in, it really shows. Honestly, you guys really stand out from any other clubs.

Anyway, just felt compelled to email you!

… I wanted to say, my three have always had a fantastic time with you and the team, and I feel your involvement, in particular, in their lives at school has had a significant impact upon them and their peers, particularly when it comes to the Care Code and how they treat each other. It has been a pleasure to see your business go from strength to strength and I wish you, your family, and the team all the very best for the future.

… I just wanted to take the time to recognise the sports team for all that they do for the children and to express my sincere thanks.

Both of my children have recently attended sporting events to represent the school and they have absolutely loved taking part in them.

The recent events and school sports days were superbly organised and executed. You could see the enjoyment on all of the children’s faces and it was inclusive for all with teachers and children helping those that were a little shy or not as confident taking part, which was lovely to see.

Please pass on my thanks to all involved in making these opportunities available to all of our children. They are fun for the children and it is great to see them very proud to represent their school.

… Tell the team a massive thanks all 4 girls loved camp today and cannot wait to go again.

Our TEAM’S progression! Every single member of our TEAM just gets stronger and stronger! Role Models leading by example. Pushing forwards, always!

Joe’s story: during our 10 years at Hathern CE Primary School ex pupil Joe came back for Work Experience whilst still at school, when College didn’t work out he returned for Summer Camp coaching. He’s since gained his Level 1 and 2 and this year his 3 and 4 qualifications and has a massive impact on the schools he works in.

Seeing the progress in delivery and confidence in all of our team makes me PROUD!

We can say it but let’s show it too! Wow… what an impact! Inclusion and Participation in Competitive Sport! Our PE delivery is all aimed at the development of FUNdamental Movement Skills all the way through to Competitive Sport. Not to win but to be prepared for progress.

We want our pupils to be Key Stage Ready! That means independently progressing every year subject to their own targets and objectives. Pupils know their only competitor in PE is themselves and in PE with us You Never Lose! You Win or Learn! (Thanks Ronnie CR7 )

Knowing their National Curriculum. “Why are we here?!”

BY THE END OF PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS HAVE PROGRESSED FROM EYFS TO KEY STAGE 1 AND 2 AND ARE SUDDENLY OFF TO SECONDARY/HIGH SCHOOL. OUR KIDS ARE KEY STAGE READY!

Developing and maintaining links with our local secondary schools we can support pupils to be ready to learn when making that huge jump! Having Charnwood College and Humphrey Perkins (lots of ex pupils too) KS3 students back at Sports Days, Clubs and Camps and Work Experience gave our pupils role models, ambition and an understanding of progress. The love we have for those Young Leaders is huge.

KEY STAGE 3: AGES 11-14 (YEARS 7-9)

PUPILS SHOULD BUILD ON AND EMBED THE PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT AND SKILLS LEARNT IN KEY STAGES 1 & 2, BECOME MORE COMPETENT, CONFIDENT AND EXPERT IN THEIR TECHNIQUES, AND APPLY THEM ACROSS DIFFERENT SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES

THEY SHOULD UNDERSTAND WHAT MAKES A PERFORMANCE EFFECTIVE AND HOW TO APPLY THESE PRINCIPLES TO THEIR OWN AND OTHERS’ WORK

THEY SHOULD DEVELOP THE CONFIDENCE AND INTEREST TO GET INVOLVED IN EXERCISE AND SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES OUT OF SCHOOL AND IN LATER LIFE

AREAS FOR ASSESSMENT

COMPETITIVE TACTICS AND STRATEGIES

TEAM BUILDING

PROBLEM SOLVING

EVALUATE OWN PERFORMANCE AND SUCCESS

My passion is supporting and improving the lives of young people. Being involved in sport as a young person created opportunities for me to play and coach sport around the world learning from inspiring coaches that provided life long memories.
